Officer Not So Friendly: Dark Cloud Hangs Over Seattle

The shooting of the Woodcarver isn't the first shooting in and around Seattle. It was just the latest at the time. In fact, just that week alone 6 other men were killed by police in the Seattle area. Yes, that makes 7 men killed by police in 7 separate incidents, in one week! This doesn't even include the property owner that was killed in Spokane that same week.

Maybe you think this was just an anomaly. If that doesn't shock you, maybe this will. Since January 2009 until now there have been 44 separate incidents in and around the Seattle area. I am talking about in the Seattle Metropoitan area which includes Snohomish, King, and Peirce counties. I have also included parts of Kitsap county since it is right across the water from Seattle and is considered part of the Seattle community.
